威胁在辽东半岛和胶东半岛登陆，加上台湾小朝廷的牵制，京广线以东全部在美军的威胁之下。第三，东亚格局撤底改变。如果美国占领了朝鲜半岛，完全可以将其作为日本的屏障，那时美国就可以把日本建成西太平洋反华总基地，把美国的战略防线从珍珠港向西推进数千公里，放到中国家门口。如果说，没有台湾的中国将冲不出第一岛链进不了太平洋、东南国土没有防御纵深的话，那么没有朝鲜，中国连起码的陆地安全都没有。
现在有朝鲜在中间，美国的直接威胁只能停在三八线以外，使东北这个工业和能源基地免腹背受敌（苏联、美国）之苦，为中国的国家安全和发展起到了至关重要的作用。现在美国在南韩布署军队主要是为了防御北朝鲜的百万人民兵，根本就无力也无心在这此打中国的主意。所以，虽然中朝关系屡生波折，但在关键时刻双方始终不离不弃，这不仅仅是"鲜血凝成的友谊"，而是两个国家战略利益之所在。虽然冷战结束十几年了，但美国对中国的扼制和威胁却有增无减，朝鲜对中国的国家安全仍然至关重要。也正因为这样，虽然中国对朝鲜搞核武器也很恼怒，但在美国威胁对朝鲜动武的的问题上，从未放弃底线。历史上，最愚弱的清政府都懂得朝鲜与中国"唇亡齿寒"的关系，今天的人难道还不如被骂了一百多年的清政府吗？

袁世凯暗叫不好，如果这样的话他就白费了力气，还搭上个唐绍仪，得罪了太后，岂不是竹篮打水一场空
“李老中堂，属下有个不情之请，还请李老中堂成全。”
李鸿章笑着说：
“既然是不情之请，你还敢说。”
虽然这么说，但是话语中却没有威严肃杀的味道，对这个淮军的后起之秀，李鸿章打心眼里看重，早已把他看作自己的传人，自然不会过于严厉。
“大人，那唐绍仪和吴俊升虽然可恶，却是投奔卑职帐下效命，如果这般被当众缉拿，以后哪还会有人投奔卑职。所以还请李老中堂给属下半分薄面，让他们现在帐下效命几个月，等过了这段卑职寻个差错开销了，也算是没打破卑职的面皮。”
李鸿章见他说的无赖，心中不喜，但还是勉强点点头：
“行，但是赵刚那边却要想办法说和了，我看他虽然是一介武夫、杀人盈野，但是打起仗来还有几分凶气，以后也是一员虎将，又受太后提拔，到是不能疏忽了？”

今天的报纸就更生气了，我们卖给非洲的军火，硬是让那些西方的鸟人给截住，让我们从非洲拉回来了。我们的政府还就答应了，从炸南联盟大使馆时我们就软蛋了，没想到，现在还在软，可悲啊。政府软，咱不能软，抵制西方的活动要进行到底，但要反对坏的东西，家乐福不必说了，反倒他们的总统来向中国人下跪，肯德基等洋垃圾食品更要一反到底。那东西害人于无形啊。打倒帝国主义，打倒西方列强。我操西洋肥妞，坚决到底！部分观点我赞同，比如关于中国现在是盛世的问题，我就赞同。其余保留意见。中国人向来尊崇儒家思想，儒家的根本思想就是“重文轻武”。
呵,古有大儒小儒之分,自宋以后只有小儒无大儒,看看汉唐那个不重文,武也没怎么样呀!中国太大，
几千年的皇权统治，
为了国家稳定帝王都选择了儒家思想，
以致长久以来整个民族本性被压抑，
缺少侵略性是所谓不争。
反观西方国家，
国家的疆界很少是一成不变，
骑士尚武，

and then the Wonder began to cease; and I must confess, my religious Thankfulness to God's Providence began to abate too upon the Discovering that all this was nothing but what was common; tho' I ought to have been as thankful for so strange and unforseen Providence, as if it had been miraculous; for it was really the Work of Providence as to me, that should order or appoint, that 10 or 12 Grains of Corn should remain unspoil'd, (when the Rats had destroy'd all the rest,) as if it had been dropt from Heaven; as also, that I should throw it out in that particular Place, where it being in the Shade of a high Rock, it sprang up immediately; whereas, if I had thrown it anywhere else, at that Time, it had been burnt up and destroy'd.
I carefully sav'd the Ears of this Corn you may be sure in their Season, which was about the End of June; and laying up every Corn, resolv'd to sow them all again, hoping in Time to have some Quantity sufficient to supply me with Bread; But it was not till the 4th Year that I could allow my self the least Grain of this Corn to eat, and even then but sparingly, as I shall say afterwards in its Order; for I lost all that I sow'd the first Season, by not Observing the proper Time; for I sow'd it just before the dry Season, so that it never came up at all, at least, not as it would ha' done: Of which in its Place.

¡¡¡¡If anyone had been watching her he would have thought her movements decidedly peculiar; for, on alighting, she went off at a great pace till she reached a certain number in a certain busy street; having found the place with some difficulty, she went into the doorway, looked up the dirty stairs, and, after standing stock still a minute, suddenly dived into the street, and walked away as rapidly as she came. This manoeuvre she repeated several times, to the great amusement of a black-eyed young gentleman lounging in the window of the building opposite. On returning for the third time, Jo gave herself a shake, pulled her hat over her eyes, and walked up the stairs, looking as if she were going to have all her teeth out. ¡¡¡¡There was a dentist's sign, among others which adorned the entrance, and, after staring a minute at the pair of artificial jaws which slowly opened and shut to draw attention to a fine set of teeth, the young gentleman put on his coat, took his hat, and went down to post himself in the opposite doorway, saying, with a smile and a shiver: ¡¡¡¡`It's like her to come alone, but if she has a bad time she'll need someone to help her home.' ¡¡¡¡In ten minutes Jo came running downstairs with a very red face, and the general appearance of a person who had just passed through a trying ordeal of some sort. ¡¡¡¡When she saw the young gentleman she looked anything but pleased, and passed him with a nod; but he followed, asking with an air of sympathy: ¡¡¡¡`Did you have a bad time?' ¡¡¡¡`Not very.' ¡¡¡¡`You got through quickly.' ¡¡¡¡`Yes, thank goodness!' ¡¡¡¡`Why did you go alone?'
